Royal Cambridge Hotel

The hotel had a great central location, making it easy to explore the main city center on foot. Additionally, being able to park at the hotel was a convenient benefit as parking in the area is limited. the staff at the reception were friendly and informative, providing helpful information during our stay.

The hotel furnishings appeared worn and the room we stayed in was quite dingy. the bathroom was in need of refurbishment and both the room and bathroom were uncomfortably hot, requiring us to open the windows.

Great location, friendly breakfast waiters, comfortable beds, lovely Georgian building, good value, clean.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel in this city. The location was extremely convenient, allowing us to easily walk into the center or visit the different colleges. It was situated on the riverside, providing a beautiful setting. The breakfast had a good selection, including fresh fruit and vegetarian + vegan options. The staff were cheerful and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel on the edge of town centre in Cambridge. The location was perfect as it allowed me to easily explore all the sites Cambridge has to offer. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, with attention to detail in the basic amenities. I especially loved the lovely view over Hobsons conduit from my room. The included breakfast was delicious, with a variety of fresh bread and fruit to start the day.

The only minor issue was the lack of scrambled eggs for breakfast.

The hotel is ideally located right in the center of town, making it very convenient to explore the beautiful city of Cambridge on foot. It is also close to the Fitzwilliam museum, a must-visit attraction. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a nice view of the city. The bathroom had all the necessary amenities and was clean. The service provided by the staff was helpful and the breakfast, which was buffet-style, was delicious with plenty of options to choose from. a great experience for a solo traveler.

Some areas of the hotel were in need of renovation and updating.

This hotel offers great value for money. Despite being located on a roundabout on the edge of the town center, it is convenient for accessing all the sites Cambridge has to offer. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service. The rooms, although basic, have all the necessary amenities such as a TV and a shower. The breakfast, while lacking scrambled eggs, includes fresh bread and fruit.

Everything was more than satisfactory.
